The Pra’ delle Torri holiday resort is located on the Adriatic Coast by Caorle Beach within a 110-hectare green space.
Caorle is a historic seaside town in the province of Venice overlooking the Adriatic. It is known for its vast sandy beaches, a picturesque old town with ancient seafaring traditions, food and wine (particularly fresh fish dishes), and its superb tourist facilities. Thanks to its proximity to other noted seaside resorts in the Veneto region such as Cavallino-Treporti, Bibione, Eraclea, Jesolo and Lignano, it offers endless attractions and entertainment for tourists who choose it for a spring or summer holiday.
The beach
Awarded Blue Flag status on several occasions for the cleanliness of its coast and the quality of its water, the town of Caorle has a fine golden beach that stretches for 18 kilometres and includes an area fitted with sunbeds and umbrellas, toilets and play areas for children as well as an open access area. The Caorle coast is divided in two by the old town centre, which separates the east beach from the west beach.
The old fishing village, known as “Venice in miniature”, is a fascinating mosaic of colours, with its houses painted in the traditional Venetian style. The “Madonna dell’Angelo” church is one of the symbols of the town. It is home to the marble throne on which, according to legend, the statue of the Madonna was found floating in the ocean.
Around Caorle
The lagoon surrounding Caorle is a protected natural area that you can explore on foot, on horseback or by bike. You’ll be rewarded with a fascinating landscape that seems frozen in time. The area is dotted with traditional fishermen’s houses made from wood and reeds known as casoni. From the holiday village, you can easily reach the oasis of Vallevecchia, a wild and unspoilt area that stretches for over 900 hectares along the Adriatic Coast between Caorle and Bibione.
